Sweet vintage 1930s cotton floral day dress made from (I believe) feed sack. This dress is handmade, with puffed sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, shirred shoulders, a fitted waist, with pin tucks at the bodice that continue down the front of the skirt. Slips over the head.

Condition: Very good. She has been very well loved and has a few lovely scars that tell a story, starting with the stitched front across the pintucks. The original owner backed the fabric with a sugar sack and flour sack to reinforce the fabric (which we think is so cool). There's overall fading from years of wash and wear. There's a repair at the right underarm, and at the left seam towards the bottom. There's a dark smattering of spots on the left side of the bodice. A few small pinholes in the skirt, mostly near the seams. She's priced gently, and has a lot of life left in her! See last photo for details.
