Sweet vintage 1940s brown, grey, and pink plaid lightweight semi sheer cotton day dress. This retro dress has a mandarin style collar that is trimmed with a waffle cotton fabric, matching trim down the front of the buttons placard, and also at the capped sleeves, little shoulder pads, bust darts, and a nipped waist. The tiny pink buttons are made from lucite. The gored A-line skirt falls just below the knee. The dress also comes with a matching belt. Side metal zipper.

Condition: Excellent minus. The belt has the fabric missing on the buckle, but can easily be swapped out. There are two repairs on the right side of the skirt, one seam pop at the center back of the dress. There is one very small stain that wouldn't come out at the back near the shoulder blade. One of the belt loops has come loose. See photos for details. Presents beautifully.
