Sweet vintage 1940s sheer navy blue party dress. This darling dress features a sheer silk organza overlay with a slight scoop neck collar. cuffed wavy sleeves, a fitted bodice, and U shaped rows of taffeta ruffles on the skirt. The attached slip underneath has a sweetheart neckline and wide straps. Comes with a slide belt. Side metal zipper. Slips over the head.

Condition: excellent minus. There's a little fraying and two eraser sized holes at the left side of the neck due to improper hanger storage, fortunately, the fabric at the hem covers this. Several scattered pinholes at the upper back, two at the left side are slightly larger. One part of the slip underneath is a little lighter (hard to pick up in the photo) but blends with the overlay. The belt has wear, and is pineed together, but still works. See photos. Priced gently and presents beautifully.
