Spectacular vintage late 1930s or possibly early 1940s rayon crepe polka dot print dress in a pretty shade of raspberry red. This classic shirt dress has strong shirred shoulders, a little dagger collar, little chest pockets, short sleeves, Bakelite buttons down the front, a nipped waist, and a celluloid belt buckle with a built in belt. The heavily gored skirt with dropped waist pleats gives plenty of swing!

Condition: Excellent minus. The fabric is strong with one small pinhole at the right side of the chest just above the pocket. There’s faint rust colored marks on the sleeves, bits of the collar, back of the neck, and at the very top of the bodice. This gets lost in the very busy print. Presents beautifully. One pin sized black mark at the side of the chest, and a small mark at the left underarm. See photos for details, or DM if more photos are needed.
